Overview

Your personal certified tour guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby at 8:00AM or your prefer time.
1- Kulen Mountain: Kulen Mountain is one of the most sacred mountains in Cambodia. The former capital of the Khmer Empire was built to the north of Kulen Mountain, before the city was moved to the Angkor area. Explore the surrounds of Kulen Mountain and see where the Tomb Raider movie was filmed. Swim in the cool waterfall and see the 1000 Lingas built on the Holy River. Visit the big, reclining Buddha on the top of the mountain. The Buddha was built in the 16th century by the Buddhist king when the Cambodian religion changed to Buddhism.

2- Lunch Break around temple area (pay yourself).

3- Buy Beng Mealea ticket.

4- Beng Mealea temple is nestled in the jungle. Explore the ancient ruins of this untouched temple and marvel at trees and vegetation growing from the stone walls. Enjoy the scenery along the way to back from temples. See the rice paddies, village homes. Meet local villagers and enjoy talking with them if you stop to see Bamboo sticky rice making village.

5- Drop off at hotel after the tour.

✍ Please let me know in advance of your trip, if you would like to include this in your tour. Also be advised that there is an additional cost of $12 per person for this Apsara add-on.

Please note that you must be dressed appropriately for visiting some of our temples, Angkor Wat, Baphoun inside Angkor Thom, Phnom Bakheng and climbing some temples. This means your pants or skirt should cover your knees and shirt can not be sleeveless (make sure that your shirt covers your shoulders, no singlets!) otherwise you won’t be allowed entry or to climb up this is by Temples Authority.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended and wearing light cotton clothes are suggested as well for the weather from March to July as it’s very hot with high humidity.
We suggest you to bring your camera charger then you can recharge it during your lunch break at restaurant.
The official currency in Cambodia is the Cambodian Riel (KHR), however USD$ are used everywhere in the country and most of the prices are set in USD. We advise you to bring US$ and remember to bring new and clean bank notes as the old or torn notes will not be accepted at most places. ATMs are almost everywhere in the city also and making it easy to withdraw cash in USD. The exchange rate is usually roughly KHR4000 to US$1, so if you give US$2 for something which costs KHR6000, you will usually receive back KHR2000.
